The Academic Branch and the Vocational Education can be said to be the most important branch of the Indian Board of School Eucation. This branch develop education programmes and/or courses to give opportunity to the learners to pursue the course of learning of their choice.

Academic Branch deals with following academic activities of the Board.

• Review and preparation of Textbook, Curriculum and Syllabus etc.


• Teachers’ Training.

Prepares Academic Calendar at the starting of the Academic year.
